1) How does your service work?
We sell on consignment on a number of top and niche websites. Tell us what you have and we'll let you know if we can get your items sold. We would then meet, exchange your items for a contract, sell them for you, and give you a good portion of what they sell for.
2) Where do you sell my stuff?
On a number of top websites including eBay, Amazon, Reverb for music gear, Etsy and others.
We have developed a strong following of dedicated buyers on each of these sites, along with a solid reputation via feedback.
3) What kind of items can you sell? Do you have a minimum order?
We accept many items, from antiques to cameras to jewelry. Most have a history of selling for $75 or more. We don't accept clothing, furniture unless high-end, mass-produced collectibles or children's items unless antique.
We also have minimums based on project size. Contact us with a list of what you have for details.
4) What's included in your service?
Upfront research at no charge to make sure we can sell your items. Professional photography, deep background into selling trends, listing on the best website for each item, meeting with buyers or shipping your item, and payment with a spreadsheet included so you know what each item sold for. We take the hassle out of turning your items into money and freeing up your space.
5) What are your fees?
Cash In Your Stash charges a percentage of the item's sale price, plus any eBay, Amazon or other site fees, if applicable.
Our commission schedule:
Sold price $100 or less: you keep 60%
Sold price more than $100 - you keep 70%
6) Do you guarantee prices?
No. We can let you know what similar items have sold for recently, but this is a general guide only.
7) Where are you located?
We are in central San Diego and offer a free pickup service with minimum order or you can come to us. We have project minimums depending on your location. Call or email for a quick review of your items.
